Getting autographs/meeting the players

Where/when is the best time for this?
Going to take my boy down to the training ground in half term and to the FA Cup game and just wondering where is the best place to be to let my boy see some of the players and get autographs.
He is absolutely West Ham mad and would love to see some of the players up close.
I know Huffers could probably help out and surely a few others could too.

Normally, if you're prepared to wait 30-45 minutes after the game in front of the railings by the players' car park, most of them will come over and sign autographs. Whether they will be so keen to do so after an evening game, I'm not sure.

Jelavic got caught in Saville Road when I took my boy so he must be one of the few who has got a 'Jelavic'!!
Moses sped past like a loon and a lot of the 'pros' said that he is not one to stop often either.

I requested to know when James Spader was next in England (about a year ago) Just before Xmas I got a message saying hes flying over in one day, his car registration will be such and such and hes staying at The Covent Garden hotel for 3 nights.
Thats stalkerish.

I've not done it for years but they would've normally started coming out between 5.30 and 7 for a 3pm game (so a couple of hours earlier for 1245)

How long after the fame would they usually leave? The boy wants to stick around after Sunderland.

I personally would never go at half term but a Thurs or Fri is a safe bet to guarantee they'll be there. They will most likely have an open day at the stadium anyway?

All of our players are fine, if you went to the training ground 3 times, you'd get them all with the exception of Jelavic.
Apparently he has always been a bit of a knob. I know collectors from Hull and Everton who would be able to get a fully signed shirt with the exception of him.
I think he will be one player who will leave the club who's shirt I will never get.

My boy got Alex's Songs scribble in the car park after the Wolves game. Thoughly nice chap he was about it.

A few players park at the stadium on the night before then get the coach to the hotel.
Some get a cab to hotel from home and their families bring the car on the day and park in car park.
